E-Commerce Web and Mobile Design Template

Hey there! Let me take you through my journey in the world of UX/UI design. I kicked things off by diving into some initial user research, followed by crafting low-fi wireframes and then upping the game with some hi-fi designs. But that's not all; we also put our designs to the test through usability checks before the big launch.

My process

00. Research and Planning (  1 week )

Now, here's where the real adventure began. In the first three days, I had the chance to chat with 10 different users, each with their unique insights on E-Commerce Websites. What did I find? Well, it turns out most of them are all about quality images and a super effective product card when they shop. They told me that all they really need are a Home Page, Product Page, Account Page, and Cart Page to get the job done. Armed with these insights, I got down to planning all the nitty-gritty details and figuring out what important pages we needed on our web and mobile design. It's like setting out on a road trip with a clear map in hand, knowing exactly where you're headed. Let's keep this journey rolling.

In the digital age, the significance of having an ecommerce website cannot be overstated. Whether you are a small business owner or a multinational corporation, an online presence is essential for reaching a wider audience, increasing sales, and providing a convenient shopping experience for customers. This documentation highlights the importance of specific key pages within an ecommerce website: the Home Page, Product Details Page, All Product Page, and Payment Details Page.

01. Wireframe and Design (  2 weeks )

So, after an exciting week of planning, it was time to roll up our sleeves and dive into the real nitty-gritty. I needed a solid game plan, so we started by mapping out the final information architecture, user flow, and our trusty design system. With all these puzzle pieces in place, creating the wireframe was a breeze. And let's not forget the visuals! I scoured the treasure troves of Freepik and Pinter

02.  Testing and Revision ( 4 days)

Now, you won't believe how quickly I finished through an AB Testing phase. The mission here was clear: figure out which Product Card design was the real winner in the eyes of our users. We also took some time to dig into the finer details of filters and sorting options, all based on what our users preferred. It's all about fine-tuning the user experience and making it as effective as possible. And trust me, the journey was as thrilling as it sounds!

The timeline for your design journey can vary greatly, just as road trips vary in duration. What's crucial is giving each stage the time it deserves. UX/UI design is a dynamic and iterative process, and success comes from striking a balance between user needs, business goals, and adapting to the ever-changing digital landscape. So, pack your bags, plan your route, and enjoy the design journey!
